Brake light problem...help

just bought a 96 blazer and the brake lights dont work......taillights work fine....put a new bulb in both sides and they just blew...wtf? 3 brake light works ....fuse is fine....any ideas?

probally just something dumb...just fed up with it for tonight...

dont know about that one wiring problem somewhere. just shave em

my buddy was welding on his and forgot to disconnect the battery and it burned up the distrabuton block up near the back, which burned up his tail lights.

hmmmm.....well try checkin the ground in the back...i know i had a similar problem with my fullsize...found my ground towards the bumper loose....

check the fuse in the box under the hood? and if the fuse keeps blowin u have a short somewhere

when u hit the brakes do u hear a click under the dash if not check the swicth on the peddle.
