motor for 70's Datsun pickup

im looking for a motor to put in my Datsun pickup but dont want to put just a plain motor in it... just curious if anyone had any ideas or know of a motor that fits in that engine compartment without a huge hassle...thanks

Yeah dude you could do a nissan 240 motor or just a plain kA24de motor out of a 95 hardbody.. shouldn't be that big of a problem to drop that in.

does anyone know if a RX-7 motor will fit, how hard would it be to get in there...

^^^ yes i have been told you can fit a rotary in no problem because they are soo small, however there is some fabrication in getting it mounted in properly

How about a 22-r Yota motor? It would be cross bred, but there's tons of parts available for them, and they're pretty small.
