Is it possible to put the oil pan on backwards? Remember a while back, I had a post on here about my oil plug sitting right on top of my front crossmember? I think this may be why... I was looking at it earlier to see which I had, the 2.2 or th 2.0, so I can order me a rebuild kit, and noticed this.....

Russ can correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no way in hell that you can put the pan on backwards without either bending the oil pump pickup up into the crank, or it being missing completely.

The bolt holes arent symmetrical, not likely its backwards. We talked about this last year if I remember, and I still think someone took a short block out of an MPV or a 626 and replaced your original engine Blitch.
