ford ranger bodydrop steering problem

i have a 94 ranger splash with 3.5" bd and the steering is binding, what do you all with body dropped rangers do to fix this? any help is appreciated, thanks

is it just binding when ur laid out? if so ur sttering rods are prolly rubbin on ur frame

say dawg the first time i body drop my ranger i had the same problem but it broke it salfe in i think.. but it was hard to steer real hard but know is back to normal

find out where ist binding...mine is done 3 1/4 does not bind at all......did you notch for the tie rod ends when you bagged it.... other than that have someone else turn the wheel and see where it catches up...Oh and is the PS pump and system all ok...like no leaks or anything.

i think hes talkin bout from the column to the steerin gear. me n him talked bout this on aim. if u dont put universal joints in there and get rid of the rag joint it will eventually tear and fail.
