cracked intake manifold

hey the other day i noticed a crack around one of the bolts on my intake manifold. is there any way i can fix it, or just leave it alone? or should i just go get another manifold?

You can JB Weld it up or get another one from a junk yard. I take it you are refering to a FI mazda correct? That JB weld should work as there is not much stress in that area. I would just like to know how you cracked it?

depending on your money status getting another from a junk yard might be cheaper than find some one to tig weld cast aluminum. the crack will get worst with the expansion and contraction an intake manifold goes through when heated and cooled. the jb weld will get you home but wont solve the problem cuz the jb weld wont expand or contract with the intake
