Hey all, I have a truck that has a spray-in bedliner, and since I have gotten the bags done and new wheelwells welded in, I need it resprayed. I was thinking about removing the old stuff, but I am having trouble finding ways to do it. Do any you have suggestions on removal of the old stuff without damage or have any of you painted over old bedliner with good success? That is another option after if I touch up what is bare in case I can keep it and repaint it. Any suggestions either way would be helpful.

the best way to remove a spray in liner is w/ liquid nitrogen, spray it, let it freeze, then hit it lightly w/ a hammer, it will shatter...good luck

get a wire wheel for your 4.5 inch angle grinder and use that. it makes a huge mess and but its pretty quick about it compared to anything else i used. wear a mask and some safety goggles and pack a lunch. if it still too much work you can spray bedliner on top of bedliner depending on which brand you use. good luck.
