i'm want'n to know the front end width of a 90'sish impala or caprice or something so i can build a frame for my new s-10 and have the ls1 in it any help? any if u have a impala or anytying for sell i'll buy

pretty sure that they are pretty close to being the same thing..maybe not width wise but suspension is very similar..u can just as easily put a V8 in an s10 with the stock frame...

There is nothing similar between the impala (caprice) and S-10 front suspensions. There are no parts interchanges as far as control arms, spindles, brakes, steering is concerned. Don't waste your time. But Trevor is right - its cake to put a V8 in an S-10.

its not an lsi in an impala. its teh lt1 and if you put a cparice front clip on ur gonna have to change wheels to a fullsize chevy bolt pattern
