Anyone know what the laws for tailights are in missouri? who i could get ahold of that would know? wantin to run a couple of 10 inch leds in my tailgate skin but dont know what the laws r. HELP ME OUT

I wanting to know the samething. What I am going to do is get some pics and measurements of taillights that I want to put in my full size and take them to Troop E Headquaters (Statetropper headquaters) in Poplar Buff and show them what I what and see what they say about it.

hey watch out check first casue i got mine in my rollpan on my ranger and the stateys say they are not int he factory position adn will give u a collision report saying u need to go get it checked they are asssholes in ohio

i had a couple of problems w/ taillights on my caprice w/ city cops but hiway patrol said they were legal as long as they reflect red when light is shined on them & they light up red they are legal all my tickets got thrown out

I would think you could just call you local police office and ask them about the law.

I'm gonna have to recommend a big "NO" on that, for a couple of reasons:

1. It will draw attention to you, and wipe out any possibility of successfully using the "I didn't know...." ploy.

2. Most cops know jack about the details of the law when it comes to unusual situations, like custom vehicles. They'll know if state law requires two working taillights, or just one. They'll PROBABLY know what colors are and are not permitted. But when it comes down to distance from the ground, how far apart, etc., most cops just aren't gonna know that off the top of their heads, and about half will be too embarassed to admit that.

No, I'm not bashing cops. Yes, I have some clue what I'm talking about.

I ALWAYS SAY FUCK IT !!!!!! ITS JUST PAPER THEY MAKE MORE OF IT EVERY DAY . GIVE ME A TICKET !MY LIGHTS ARE COMPLETLY HIDEN UNTILL I TURN THEM ON AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM
