HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK IT WILL COST TO BAG A 98 S-10? ME DOING ALL THE WORK, I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE AIR SUSPENSION FOR S-10'S? IM LOOKING AT THE ROAD GRADER KIT AND FRONT KIT FROM AIR RIDE JUST BECAUSE I KNOW THERE PRODUCTS ARE EASY TO INSTALL.
thats definately not the most cost effective way, its the noob way
i bought the suicidedoors 5 link wishbone kit and have all 1/2 with airlift xtreme bags 12 gallon tank and 2 viair 450s....all said n done id say a tad over 2000bucks
I agree with big joe if you go with easy installation like roadgrater kit or airride the money you'll be saving on labor will go too those two kits.last time i checked those airride kits run easily over a grand just for the front. Its not all about the product your buying but its the quality of work when installed. You can have a top of the line bag kit but it wouldn't matter if you intalled it wrong.Seriously if you haven't done any airsupension work before dont attempt to try it you'll just end up ruin your truck and then spending more money to fix it But a average kit will cost you around $1500-2500 depending on where you go and what you buy. be carefull most kits come with just the suspension components you still have to get all the bracketry Check out suicidedoors.com
ive done air suspension for 2years now and built my last f-150 laid on 22's, its not hard, its easy to do. im just looking for the most cost effective and easiest way to bag this truck, its not mine, its my girls and she wants to put air on it. also im looking for some cheep 18's.
definitely go to suicide doors for everything. since you've already bagged a truck before, where did you get your stuff at that time?
i have some 18x8.5 dante vertigo's that i would sell. falken tires with 85% left. great condition.
I used to work at "AFTERMARKET WHOLESALERS in sacramento, california. they went out of business", i would get it all through them, but now there arent that many good shops to go to so us guys who worked there now use eachother to find good cheep places to buy our suspension parts
i too would suggest the SD.com kit over the airride kit. its cheaper for one, and from what ive seen beefier. the front only takes drop spindles and SD.com cups ($90). so thats like $250. unlike almost a grand for the airride front setup. id say about $2000 for everything sounds about right from SD.com. with airride youll spend around $2500, then theres all the extra goodies that they dont include.
just shop around. from the loos of your old f150, you know your way around the shop, so i wouldnt spend extra $$ for a bolt on kit, when there is much better available for less.
I kinda like the road grater kit just because of the c-notch bilt into the kit, is there any one else besides aim and air ride that make a kit like the roadgrater.
