Just signed up for active duty. I leave at the end of this semester for Wisconsin, then Texas for 5 months, then where ever they tell me to go. Soooo anyone wanna give me tips for bootcamp?? ...let me know
Keep your mouth shut unless directly asked a question.
Do what you're told, immediately and without question.
When the going gets tough, just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Consider quitting to be an ACTION, and just be too lazy to do it. Put your body on autopilot.
Do your best to be inconspicuous. (That didn't work for me, but then I'm 6'4....)
say yes sir to the drill sergant they love that
good advice on the being inconspicuous...I'm 5'4 so i'll just hide behind everyone
I will have been in the Army for ten years, November first. I am in Iraq right now, but will be outta here soon! Then it is back to Ft. Bragg, until 'they' send me off again, which probably wont be too long.

Yeah. I was thinking of speeding tickets, crying works for those. I'm really don't think I'll cry, I'm actually excited to go (except for the weather in the middle of winter in Missouri)
Im in AFROTC at texas state. Havent gone to field training yet but soon will!
