esab welders

shoppin for a new welder, pretty set on a miller 210, but i remember all the esab welders i see on discovery channel, they seem priced about the same as millers i guess, i couldnt find any specs on the machines, only thing i see on their website is talkin about phases and duty cycle and max voltage and crap, but nothin on amperage and metal thickness, anyone using esab welders?

geez guess noone owns one, maybe i should do the same.....

my friends tig at his shop is an esab it seems like quality stuff and he loves it but i dont know how to tig so i cant exactly vouch for it i know this doesnt help you out since your looking for mig but im sure the quality should be the same for all their machines plus its a mig as long as its got heat and speed adjustments and a warranty how bad could it work

dunno ive used some sweet lincoln tig welders, but ive used 3 lincoln mig welders and they have all sucked, the guns suck the tips suck, the wire feed mech sucks. so could be the same with the esab

We have a Millermatic 251 and LOVE it, awesome gun and wire feeder. Super smooth opperation. We bought ours from www.cyberweld.com - free shipping on on miller and no tax, arrived 2days later. Hope this helped.-Keith

a good friend of mine has an esab mig welderi dont know the specs on it, but i do know that it is bad ass. and it is very good quality. i would defenitly recomend it.
if i where you i would go down to your local welding supply store, they should have a book or catalog with all the specs.

I dont know shit about their welders but I have an esab plasma cutter that works awesome. So the company is quality.

thanks man for the site, looks like i found my new welder, gonna pick up a miller 210 from those guys, 1262.00 w/ free shipping, cant beat that, the local dealers want 1400 or so.

I have a migmatic 203 Esab I love the thing. I use the hell out of it. The machine has more than adequete functionability to it. I just know that the consumables are a little harder to get than the miller. But besides that its awesome no complaints here. Also it has the option for a spool gun also.

you may want to tryi to haggle with the locals. I got my miller 210 for $1125 here in indy five years ago and at the time it was on promo with a free spool gun
