tacho dash in 82 yota

i was looking thru the minitruckn website today and found a sweet looking tacho.how well do u think a tacho dash would fit in an older model, the mounting points look very similar (im not scared of a little fabbing) and so do the vents. ok a few Q'show does the instrument cluster work in a tacho is the speedo cable driven?will there be a considerable gap between the window and dash?how do u think it would look?i know theres more exciting looking dashes but im trying to go for a factory look, like its all supposed to be in there.
