children of show goers

what is wrong with people today? when I was a kid I was taught to stay atleast 2-3feet away from cars at shows. Today at a local show....100's of rabid kids running around cars, mostly mine, fingerprinting damn near climbing in it ect. How do you ssm'ers (with kids) tell your kids about car shows? Do they pull on this nonsence, or are my locals idiots with kids with no respect?

i think its all in the rents... i can take my pitbull in puplic anywhere and she doesnt even give a shit who "you" are or whats going on... i dont have kids personally but i think if i can control my pitbull and never have to worry about her "snaping" at someone, or trying to "evade" a vehicle thats not hers, i think some rents should learn to control there kids

as a father of 3 (15, 13, and 11) my kids have been around the scene. they were taught at an early age they must ask the owner before they can touch (climb in etc.). it is frustrating to me when i see other kids running around looking with their hands and feet all up on in someones clean show piece. but if you take a closer look at the parents of those kids they are doing the same thing the kids are. so you can't really blame the kids they are only doing what their parents and guardians are doing.

I have two little ones (2 1/2 and 6) They both know not to touch. My daughter even tells her friends not to touch any of the cars outside, even my pos daily.

at one show kids hung over the door through the window of my friends bd truck and started hittin switches. I was very pissed and it wasnt even my truck. I think too many parents these days let the tv and playstation raise their kids.

the other day i was walking through walmart parking lot and there was a woman and what i presume to be her daughter in a car with the windows down. The girl was throwing a fit screaming at the top of her lungs kicking the dash and door inside the car and i walk by and i say "excuse me....do you think you could at least act like a parent and try and discipline your child, that is no way for her to act in any setting"

oh so tempting B, I tell ya. Im not trying to start a fight with some dude because he cant teach his child what to do and not do. Honestly what can ya do.

My sons 7 and he never disrespect anyones ride... Kids will be kids,personally I think its just how you raise them...I'd like to see less dogs at shows though,they just don't belong at shows.No offence,I love dogs,but at shows i've seen them do more damage then any kid can....I had a kid almost take off one of my side mirrors off my s-10 one time,cause he thought it would be cool to hang on and when i said something to the kids father he looked at me like i was fucked up....I seen some dudes dog not only scratch the shit out of a door but try to bite some chick,so I don't know,leave them both home,lol....

my 4 yr old was taught from day one not to touch without asking that goes for the cars the stores or anywere we go. If he wants something he asks and stays with me or my wife and holds hands still. Its called respect not just for others but for yourself
