Actually if you check out Airlift's website that have a pretty good run down of what you should have in a sponsorship proposal or hit up a company like Eye Kandy Designs and they can build you a package.

lol i know..they didnt specify the type of proposal or what they were actually looking for, so of course i gave a dumb answer..lol

keep it simple. reps (sponsorship coordinators generally receive hundreds of sponsorship requestsa month, sometimes more). they will no bullshit, completly ignore a large proposal simply because of the time involved in reviewing it. keep it simple, short as possible without cutting out pertainant info. sponsorship is usually dependent on the level of exposure you can offer a company. you are advertising for a company. for the proposal itself, include pics definately, they like to see it for themselves, if it's not complete, submit the renderings, before and after photo's engine shots, exterior (multi angles), interior, bed etc. cover the whole vehicle. list what shows you've attended, what shows you're going to attend, if you have any media lined up for it..photo shoots, online mags, advertisement etc. if it is already comleted list awards received. a brief history about yourself is usually helpful....(how long you've been showing, building vehicles etc, your career/profession; reps like to know what kind of person you are as well since you become a sort of spokesperson for their company. most importantly.........DONT BULLSHIT IN YOUR PROPOSAL. if they agree to sponsor you based on your proposal, live up to your end of the deal, if you don't, you just make it harder for the next guy who's trying to obtain sponsorship. companies get burned all the time. we as mini-truckers have a tough enough time, and don't need the bad p.r. from someone burning a company. if you need help or have any questions, hit me up. i've built a few vehicles for free. the latest one i have les than 2 g's into overall including the purchase price. sponsorship is possible for all of us, you have to have your act together though.
