04 F-150 STEERING WHEEL HELP???/ PLEASE HELP

OK, I HAVE THE AIR BAG OUT OF THE STEERING WHEEL, I AM TRYING TO PUT ON A NEW CUSTOM WHEEL AND HUB.

I CANT GET THE STOCK WHEEL OFF BECAUSE THEY DONT SELL THE WHEEL PULLER TO THE PUBLIC, WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THE WHEEL OFF? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

rent one at auto zone.

just keep yanking on it and it will pop off eventully mine did

OK, so after it pops off, i was told that i might have to trim 1/4 of the shaft off?? or is it just the plastic on the back cover?

take the nut all the way off and put it back on a 1/4 turn or so so when ur snatchin on it it wont pop u in the face...

^^^ Good advice because I didn't do that one time and busted my lip.

I GOT THE WHEEL OFF, NOW IM LOOKING AT THE HUB AND IT DOSENT FIT ON THE DAMN FORD STEERING SHAFT. OR WHAT I MEAN IS IT FITS ON THE STEERING SHAFT, BUT THE ELECTRONICS DONT FIT IN THE HUB THAT THEY GAVE ME.

DID ANY ONE HAVE TO BREAK THE CONNECTORS OFF AND MAKE THEM WORK?

I figured it out, i took a file and filed down the flat spots on the hub, it fit really tight.
