toyota front end widths?

im wanting to swap my taco front suspension out with an older yota front end 86 or so.i want the manual steering column and box.im trying to fix a few problems im having with my steering column and rack and pinion beeing in the way to drop my engine some more.and also my front wheels need pulled in away from the fenders.so im thinking an older front end should be narrower ,does any one know the width for the two front ends?

Assuming the front track width is the same as the rear width, the older frames should be about 3" narrower. I have a full clip sitting at my shop and can measure it tonight, its from a 86 but is no different then any 84-95.

just got an 88 frame today.

88 frame is 4.5 inches narrower in front.should have plenty of turning room now.
