just got 2 62" scags for $500

i just bought these 2 mowers one the engine ocught fire and the otherone the motor is in pieces so im going to make one mower and buy another motor for ethe otherone. does anyoen have parts for these i will trade parts for mazdas or barter soem otherway leme know if anyone has anythign they wanna sell thanks

nah its a 23 i can get a new 23 ho for 1200 but i been searchin ebay they have them for 6-900 new and 100 for shipping i started takin the burnt plastics off the burnt motor and it still turns freely so i think when i swap everythign over it will run within 2 weeks i hope and the otherone ill just buy a motor for it anyone know of any scag motors for sale?

scag doesn't make motors they make the deck, and the chasiss and other parts, honda, kawasaki or kohler make the engines that go on scag mowers, i would know i just bought a brand new 48" cut with a 19 horsepower kawasaki motors, and it works excellent, best 6 grand i ever spent

yeah mine is a Babcat mower with a 61 inch cut and a 22 or 23 hp Kohler engine. I can cut my yard in about an hour. I love it too

ya i been workin on one for about 2 days now and all the decks and frames rims and tires are stil good just needs motors or should i say motor im goin gto try and get this one to run i just need to make up some wireing since it was in a fire most of it is wrecked. the otherone im just going to find a motor on ebay or bargain news i got a price for a 23 hp kohler for 1400 new and i think i can find one cheaper online or somethign see if i can get one goin and sell the otherone best $500 i spent in a while i got them because my bro in law had a 61 inch 3 wheeler a 48 exmark and a 61 inch exmark hydro mower for free it has some starting issues but once it runs it runs like a champ and i think im going to go into business with him an di want my own mower so here i go

yah my 48" scag tiger cub can cut 2.5 acres an hour at 10 mph, with the 19hp kawasaki. my biggest lawn only takes 1.5 hours and that cutting at like 5mph. its freaken quick.
