just to start off 180 isnt exactly reasonable; for all out power you can go h22a but there really isnt much stuff out there for them i recommend a b20b or b20z because you can get parts and the displacement is up there; for serious power there is no off the shelf stuff you can get because for boost the b20s like funky hybrid turbos and the rest will be machine work and forged components; big power can be done but dont expect 180 because 140 is a really hard barrier to break with a honda

i dont know... fucking get a real car! actually, i had a 95 civic, and the best way to go is with a dohc vtec w/ a turbo set up... check the honda/ac forums, there is plenty of that shit online.

If you're talking breaking 180 or 140 hp, you sir are a complete dumbass. 200 is the makr to break all motor with a b16. It's doable, but it takes a lot of work. the extra displacement a b18 provides would make it even easier. Hell I've even seen all motor d series engines make pretty good numbers. Then once you get into the world of FI, the sky is the limit. Well actually your fuel system and engine internals, but those are easy enough to take care of
