Is it true that F150 hoods are made of Aluminum and not steel?

umm no, they are steel

hmm, i dont know mike, i think they are Aluminum, At least i think mine is. I just did a little test, I took a magnet and stuck it to my fender, the same magnet wont stick to any part of my hood.

Did you weld your hood squirters?

yeah they are aluminum

um, yeah they are. not to change the subject, but does any one know who sells a plain cowl hood for a 2004 f-150?
