Extra Cab bed on regular cab truck toyota

hi, anyone fitted an extra cab bed to a regualr cab truck on a toyota, im pretty sure their the same. i found one and just want to be sure it fits before i go shell out the money.thanksTom

i duno where NSW is...but here in the US ..reg cab and xtra cab beds will swap..but overseas...like in australia..reg cabs all come with longbeds..so they wont just swap over to an xtra cab..because the xtra cabs come with the short box....

yeah from Australia. so an extra cab bed wont fit..? dam i was told they would. they look similar, of course the dual cabs are much smaller.
yeah flat beds and RHD i have a flatbed now, i hate it, i cant find a 79-83 bed anywhere ive seen a reg cab one for it once and that was on my mates junker, that is now a cube of steel. there all rusty and destroyed from building sites, im having trouble just finding a toyota bed in repairable condition. and im looking for years from 79-2000....no wreking yards have anything
