I got some 14'' L.E.D's from FBI Mini and I am finally wiring everything up. Everything works fine, got brake lights, running lights, blinkers. Here's the head scratcherwhen I have the running lights on and turn on the blinker it just lights up.Their little directions say, if it blinks fast or stays on wire in a 5 watt rezister. So does that mean wire that in if it always does it, or will it fix my problem?
if you're using the TAC units, then no it won't. i got those a while back but the resistance wasn't right so i went with the 10" 's. then everything was right.
the led's arent pulling as much power as a regular light bulb does so thats why the led is staying on constantly. if you wire in that resistor itll pull enough i guess amperage on the circuit allowing the led to flash properly. it might flash faster than a regular bulb did before. mine were doing that too. i just wired up an extra lightbulb/socket and hid it where it would be outta sight. works fine for me.
Either wire in a resistor or if it is for your blazwer get a digital relay for the blinkers. You can buy them at autozone, etc.
