Do you weld the on the flanges.. Just curious cause i'm around semi trucks all the time they've got a sticker that says "do not heat drill or weld flanges"... Oh and, does it usually take longer to bag the front or the back?? 87 b2k basic bag kit, Thanx

semi truck frames are diffrent from our trucks the frames are designed to take on alot of torqe the frame on the semis are like a c-channel if you do anything to those flanges that will weeken them they will eventually crack from wleding or drilling on that flange and plus our trucks are not made to haul anything close to what a semi truck hauls so weld that bish all up

semi frames are built to flex and twist some thats why you don't weld or drill them

That's right, are you talking about a c-notch like Belltech? If so just bolt it in. I'd trust the engineers for that small of a notch. If your gonna weld it in, might as well build a full notch and bridge, your paying extra for the fact that it's a bolt in kit.
