lost wheel lock key

fellaz, I've lost my wheel lock key. How can I get this wheel lock off? Yes, I've been told that wheel shops have tools to remove it. However, I'm looking to do it myself if possible. See the pic for the wheel lock.

Pep Boys sells a tool but it destroys the lugnut. If you know where you got them at you can go buy a set of lugs and they come with a key. My friend has a wheel shop in Dallas and he has millions of keys.

try a gator grip socket first.

wrap the area in foil and weld a bar to the lock and use a pipe wrench.

these are sockets that have a tapered left hand thread on them so you tap them on the lug and then put a impact on it and it tightens on the lug and spins it off. these work awesome.

shit i bet harbor freight has a kit like that for even cheaper
