Help with in dash monitor

What up fellow mother truckers. I just bought the new Clarion in dash 7" with DVD and the whole 9 yards. Does anyone know how to bypass the emergency brake feature so that I can watch movies while I drive. Any help would be apreciated.

i would guess you would need to find out what signal the ebrake sends to the unit (power or ground) and do exactly that

Unless they changed it you should be able to just ground the wire and it will work.

Just ground it to the body or frame.

with mine i just connected my wire straight in with the groundwire adn it worked fine

Yeah most of them you can just ground it. Mine told me in the instructions to ground it in order to bypass the emergency brake feature.
