I cracked off my bed mounts! WTF!

Aight, im not sure how this happened, but yesterday i was unbolting my bed so i could clean up the rear frame and paint some shit, and the bolts came loose just fine, but when i started loosening the bolts for the second set of brackets from the cab back, i discovered that they were broke off the frame. WTF! I have NEVER seen this before. The very front ones are fine, but on both sides these cracked off. They didnt break, the FACTORY WELDS cracked. Now i dont know if this had anything to do with me being rearended 2x's in 2 yrs(thats actually prolly what did it but anyways) but this sucks. Now i gotta weld em back on. But has anyone wit a bagged truck had this problem ?

My trucks a 99 ext cab stepside and when i lay it out in the rear it sat like 3/4in off the ground cause it was resting on the inner fenders...Now could the constant pressure of the bed sittin on the inners of cracked the mounts or what? And my driveshaft also sat on the gas tank crossmember all the time when it was laid out too. Could that have caused it? Id like to know if anyone else ever did this...

Yeah between the 2 ass poundings and your tires pushing the bed up that would be the answer...

YEah thats what i figured, but i wanted to know if anyone else did this before. And why it would fuck up those brackets and not the bolts or even shift the bed in other places. The bed ligned up perfect.
