Why are you a trucker/minitrucker?

Ok so there has been a lot of flaming me lately so I am trying to grow my own understanding here. I've been in pretty much every scene in the automotive world. I understand a lot of them I see why the hot rodders do what they do. Most of them are older and enjoy reliving the good old days. Some of the younger ones want to keep that early tradition alive. I get the italian/british/german guys because well, those are just good products that can be incredible fun to drive and don't look half bad either. I get the upper end japanese guys who have put serious work into their rx7s, supras, skylines, and nsxs. I sort of understand the guys that do that with their civics because it's much cheaper and i understand not everyone has as much money as they would like for their car(s). I definately don't get the ones that just throw on body kits and 5 inch exhaust tips and aluminum wings. the F&F should never have been made it just made that stuff cool to suburban kids with the money to waste on that shit. But I have yet to completely understand the minitruckin scene. I have more of a feel for the full size guys. I used to have an EXT with just a few things done for it but I sold it after meeting some people who I just did not want to be associated with. They were completely classless and I just couldn't stand it. Unfortunate events because I liked the truck and I can't bring myself to get one again unless I have better thoughts about what I would be associated with. So I would appreciate some well thought out answers to the question "Why are you a minitrucker instead of anythign else?" what about this scene of all things attracts you? As far as I can come up with, it is because it is cheap to do and you guys like your parties and shows with lots of skanks and that has been my only experiences with the scene so I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on the better part of it because like every other scene, I'm sure this one has both its good and its bad. Any ignorant posts like "cause it's cool yo" are not welcome and will be deleted. I'm trying to learn something here not listen to something a 4th grader would tell me. Thank you in advance.
