f150 fenders, question

im bout to buy new front fenders for my truck(97 f150) and i was wonderin if the 4x4 fenders are wider than lariats? i know the tacoma drivers do that alot( swap fenders) and was wonderin if i could get as lucky as them? lemme know guys,
