expired N.C. licence

last month my north carolina drivers licence expired, i'm living in new york now so i went to exchange my NC one for a NY. they told me i had to pay some tickets i got in NY 2 years ago i paid $415.00 to clear up the tickets. when i went to get my licence they told me my NY driving privlege was revoked & i had to pay $750.00 & it would take a while after that to get my NY licence..... so i figure it would be cheaper to get another NC licence. i'll be close to nc after east coast nationals so i'll go from the show.... do any of you NCguys Know what i need to bring to get it done? i don't want to get all the way there & not have something i need..
