we have to raise it obviously but is it possible to keep the heater box? if not it doesn't really matter just wondering

Yes you can keep it.

Can you explain somewhat how to go about raising it, and keeping the heater? My builder is saying all that is gunna have to go in order to raise the tunnel enough. It's got drop mounts that he built, and the tranny is in place.

How much are you body dropping it? If you are going 2.5" then you only need to raise the tunnel 2" or so. The only part that might try to share space with the tunnel is the air diverter at the bottom. Loosing/trimming it wouldn't be an issue.

it's BD to the rockers, stock floored so I don't really know how much it took. He just said that the little black plastic housing was going to hit the tranny tunnel when he raises it. I will talk to him again and let him know what your saying.

Ya if you remove and cap off the part that blows air at your feet it should fit back in.
