In the middle of bagging the rear of my 92 toy regular cab. Do you guys know if the back of the cab needs to be notched for the driveshaft to lay out on 18's? Running a 225/40/18 if it matters.

Thanks,
Ryan

as long as your pinion isnt all out of wack you shouldnt have to notch the cab for 18s. the cross member right under the back of the cab however will likely need to be notched

i've got a 92 on the same tires and mine hits. i just haven't gotten around to tunneling the rear of the cab yet. its really weird, because others have told me theirs doesn't hit. maybe i need to check my pinion angle again. or maybe when i put the new trans crossmember in it raised the transmission and drive shaft a little bit. i don't know.

I got the pinion angle dialed in and it barelly kisses the support under the cab (not the x-member) I went and cut the cab anyways, more room if I decide to go to 20's later.

I would just go ahead and cut it now.
