who is running 20's on air? what was required to lay it out in the front? spindles and flipped ball joints, of course. are arms required? or a z in the front? or????????

i now have 20"s.. all i had to do was tub my firewall, and i z'd the front frame rails. i also have custom built control arms, but had them before the 20"s, so not sure if it's required.

how did you get the clutch master cylinder cleared i know when i had 20s on my yota it wouldnt lay out because of the break booster clutch master and the firewall would have to been tubbed some more and that was with the stock control arms

I should have also mentioned that i am not going to be doing a body drop at least no time soon. I am looking to run a 225/30 which is actually a smidge smaller than the factory 195/75 14 that i currently have on the truck. it is not bagged yet trying to get things in order so i know what to expect in the months to come. so i am ahead of the game so to speak.

You're right. The 20" is 9"wide and 25.4"tall, whereas your 14" was 8"wide and 26"tall, so not much difference in size overall. Sometimes you can actually raise your boosters on the wall a few inches, or even replace the brake booster with a smaller one from another import. Advantage to the booster/pedal raise, is when you evr get around to a body drop, you'll still have stock like floor to pedal clearance.

im rolling on 20x7.5 with a 225/30/20 and a +40 offset.. I have BLF uppers and Twisted triangulated lowers.. i could have laid without the uppers.. have the stock 94 booster and master cylinder in stock position.. also i am set up for 22s.. but i cannot lay flat with them with master cylinder in the current spot.. i lay flat crossmember.. and it lays HARD
