What should I use as lubricant for my 4 link ends?

I took my four link apart a while back to paint the bars and i forgot that i hosed off all the lubricant that was in it and now when i air up it makes a squeeking noise. any idea on what kind of grease/lubricant i should use?

I like lithium grease, but I'm sure alot of other people use alot of other types. You just don't want to have a lubricant that washes off to easily and you don't want big globs of nasty axle grease collecting dirt and sand all over your joints. Alot of four wheelers tap and install grease fittings on theirs. But they don't mind the big mess.

I use the poly grease that Energy Suspension makes. You can order it in small packs. It doesn't say what it is, so it could be lithium grease, but it works well.

Whatever you do, don't try WD40.
