sfbd on a Mitsubishi/d50

I Just recently picked up a D50/Max ex-cab, I plan on a sfbd, no time soon, but i'm currently doing my homework, and I was wondering if a 2", or a 2.5" tall Square tube with a 1/4" wall Would work Since there is almost Exactly 3" from the bottom of the body to the bottom side of the floorboard, so with a 3" tube it wouldn't sit flat, anyone pull off a sfbd with anything less than a 3" rail?Also, if anyone has any info, or Pics of what to do with the Steering box once bodydropped, Please share.
