I just got 2 1/2" Check Valves, with 5.5 CV Factor, and 1PSI cracking pressure. I installed one on each end of my 12 gallon tank, where at each end i have 2 Thomas 315s Td off. My question is, is it normal for that 1psi cracking pressure to make my Thomases get Way hotter than usual? I mean they got hot before, but not while pumping up to 80 psi for like 5 minutes.. now it actually hurts my hand lol. I dont think this is good on the compressors, even though it is safer now that my truck wont leak/drop if a compressor line blows. Let me know what you think.
