What is wrong with the forums?

I have noticed that several forums are not showing what was last posted by an SSM member. If you look on the home page you will see that some topics show that 27 or so people have responded but when you open up the forum you will only see that 4 of the earliest responses are listed. Is it my computer or is something wrong with SSM?
