I have a 97 ford ranger and it is mostly stock. I just bought it and I really want to do a ton to it but it is also my daily driver. I figured I should do everything in stages so I figured that stage one should be lowering it. I bought all the parts. I didn't buy a kit. I bought the parts where I could find the best deal. I am having trouble with the I beams so I called about six different shops and asked them if they could install my drop beams and they all treated me like I was a poser. They were rude and even laughed me right out of their shops. I guess you have to have bags or a body drop to get respect. Why is it that no one ever treats new minitruckers with respect? It was the sharing of ideas and brotherhood of the scene that attracted me to it? How did everybody get so stuck up? Everybody was a minitruckin virgin at one point. How can this lifestyle ever grow if we keep dissrespecting the newbie's?
