tint laws?

ok i know there has been alot of posts about tinted windows but i have a ? for anyone that knows about out of state vehicles. i am currently in new jersey but have washington plates on my galant. i am going to tint the windows 20% sll sround.( not shure if i want 50 on the front or not to do the front) but back to my question. do i have to follow jersey state laws for tint or can i go by washington laws? thanks
