I just got done installing the SD Engine Driven Compressor on my S10 along with a set of 2500lb 2ply Contitech bags up front. The problem I have is it takes 120psi to get the front off the ground half way. Anything below 120psi does nothing to the front end. At 140-150psi I max out the lift up front. Now the ? I have is the compressor's come with 145-on and 175-off pressure switch which sucks when my fronts dont even get off the ground fully with the tank at 175psi. I wanna run more psi in the tank so I can get more plays out of it without having to run Nitrogen but I dont want to VOID the Compressor warrenty if something happens to it. I wanna know what I should do to get more psi in the tank. If I have to I will do away with the pressure switch and run a toggle and a gauge for the tank like I used to if I have too but what have you guys run these Engine Drivens at without any problems? I wanna try and get about 250psi in the tank so I wanna know if this will be safe for the compressor or should I just stop bitching and run the 175psi shut off and be pissed off all the time with no air.
