Battery Relocation

I am relocating my OPTIMA battery under the bed tommorow.

I just wondering if you guys have any recomendation on locations and also pics for ideas.

Also can I use car audio power wire for the run from the front of the truck to the new position of the battery?

Or should I get regular automotive cable?

here is where i put mine. hard to recomend any place- depends on your susp setup and where u have room.

and amp wire should be allright as long as it is at least 4 gauge.

thats crazy.. i never seen a setup with the bags welded up on the 4 link.

it isnt even close to being done i still have alot of bracing to do on the x member and build braces for the bottom of the link bars.

i would use a 2 gauge wire to run the power wire to the battery.

I have 4 gauge audio wire on mine, and it seems fine. I have a 80 amp main fuse right off the battery

The farther away the battery ,the more resisance. Go with 0 cable on positive & grounds & you'll have no problems!

without tryin to judge your truck, do those link bars bend under pressure, are you gonna gusset them ? just curious
