Shorter Pedals On Body Drop???

Does anybody ever have to storten their gas and brake pedals when they do a body drop? I'm looking at what i have to cut on the firewall and its obvious that i will have to shorten the pedals. What is the best way to go about doing this? I'm doing a 6 inch bodydrop on my Taurus Wagon on a custom frame.
