Gas tank hittin the ground

i've got an 02 s10 i got my setup from SD and it came with the cross member that suppose to raise the gas tank but it only raised the back, the front is still below the framerails and sittin on the ground. Is there anything to do to raise the front of it ? i was thinin about temporarly puttin it in the bed???
