Question for 84-88 longbeds

I was wondering if you put a long bed on a 84 ext cab, will the wheels still be centered in the fenderwells....I've seen a couple guys in the forum with ext cab long beds so I'm curious..... I've heard all kinda crazy stuff about it so maybe somebody that knows can tell me

if you put a longbed on an x-cab and it's not made for a lwb bed, it will not fit, and the wheel will not be centered. you'll have to extend the frame, and get a driveshaft from a lwb in order for it to fit correctly. mine is an x-cab lwb, and i can tell you from experience the beds do not swap over.
