help with paint

ok i'm in the process of painting my truck and i'm not sure how big my seperating line should be. i've changed most of my colors but heres a pic of my rendering and how the line will appear on my truck

i was thinking 2 inches or should i go smaller or bigger?1.5 maybe i'm not to sure please give me some input and suggestions
