In need of BRIGHTER headlights.

I want to get some headlights that are brighter than halogen headlights, but do not want to spend big bucks on converting to HID (if it is even available for my ride). I have seen a lot of differnt types of headlights on ebay; euro headlights, projection headlights, angel eyes, etc ... Has anyone tried a set of any of these lights? I would like some opinions before I buy. I am looking for the 6x7 replacement type. Thanks.
