air ride on an RC

i found most, if not all, of the stuff that would be required to put air ride on an RC, but it would cost well over $500 to do it...
found all the parts on www.towerhobbies.com
they have a 5/8" stroke air cylinder, but supplys are limited....then its down to 3/8".....which would still work, but would have to be mounted onto some sort of cantilever in order to get enough lift.....SOMEONE DO THIS, I WANT TO SEE IT DONE!!!!!!!!!
