Engine Driven Compressor

I just baught an Airlift York Engine Driven Compressor Kit for my 99 Sonoma. I talked to the guys at Airlift and they said that i shouldnt run it above 145 psi. Unfortunately, i was looking to run it to 175 psi. He says the oil will burn up and it will sieze. Anybody ever run them higher than 145 and what happened to ur comp. Anything will help!
