Engine guys, Vortec heads

hey guys i'm rebuilding my camaro engine and its got keith black 10.9:1 pistons and a great set roller lifters so i'm wondering what the advantages would be for vortec heads and also what precautions to take if i use them other than a vortec intake(i heard somethin about roller lifters?) thanx guys
