Your 4-link looks to be at a pretty severe angle. That will cause the wheel to move a lot through the first several inches of travel until it becomes more level.

yea i know when i designed it it was at half travel and looked pretty good after i got it welded up i started thinking wtf did i do. i might end up cutting the axle brackets off and redoing them or doing a slip driveline.

I would redo the mounts some how. At half travel the lower bar should be level with the ground or pointing up a few degrees.

yea i know. my biggest problem is the front mounts i don't want to raise them to much i want to keep the back seat as low as possible. at the axle the upper bar would be 2 or 3 inches lower than the axle. thats one of the main reasons i havn't redone then yet i can't figure out a design that will give me the correct geometry without adding a crap load of gussets.
does that make any sense?

Yeah you can run the bars under the axle. Just not too far. Rock crawlers do the opposite.

How did you mod your spindle? Just cut and weld? Is it cast? I'm an s10 guy and don't know much about the yota scene.
