92-95 Turn Signal Bulbs(help me please)

I was wondering if anyone is certain that in a 92-95 Civic Si Hatchback, the bulbs in the front turn signals which are "3496" can be replaced by 1157, or another bulb thats similar. Thanks. Also Email me at Anthony_4469@hotmail.com
