specialty plates for a minitruck or show car?

does anyone know anything about a specialty insurance or registration i herd you get 1,000 miles a year i was wondering if anyone had this type of plates for driving there rides to there local shows instead of trailoring them. hwo much money do you save with this insurance? why dont people get smart and do this and disconnect the odometer?
